My Story

Creating places where people feel they belong.

For more than two decades, I've been fortunate to lead luxury hotels across Europe, the Middle East and Latin America.

From opening luxury resorts in the Dominican Republic to managing iconic boutique hotels in Mexico City, my journey has never been only about beautiful buildings or exceptional service.

It has always been about people.

I believe hospitality has the power to transform lives—not only for guests, but also for the people who dedicate their careers to creating unforgettable experiences and for the communities that welcome us.

Every destination has shaped the leader I am today. Every team has taught me something new. Every guest has reminded me that genuine human connection remains the greatest luxury of all.

Discovering Hospitality

Some careers begin with a carefully designed plan.

Mine began with a summer job.

When my family moved to Lanzarote, the island was still an emerging destination, full of possibility and untouched beauty. I joined the opening team of Iberostar La Bocayna, a small collection of forty-eight bungalows overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

What I expected to be temporary became life changing.

Hospitality helped me discover a version of myself I didn't know existed. It challenged my shyness, taught me confidence and showed me how extraordinary things happen when people work together toward a common purpose.

While studying Hospitality Management at the University of Lanzarote, I rotated through Food & Beverage, Front Office, Reservations and Housekeeping. By graduation, the property had doubled in size, and so had my understanding of what hospitality truly meant.

It wasn't about hotels. It was about people.

It was then I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to this industry.

Learning to See the World

Sheraton Fuerteventura became my gateway to the world.

Working alongside more than two hundred talented colleagues under the guidance of an exceptional hotel leader, I discovered that leadership is not about authority—it's about believing in people before they believe in themselves.

That belief changed my ambitions.

International hospitality offered something irresistible: the opportunity to keep learning while discovering new cultures.

London became my second home abroad. Berlin was my first during Uni..

At Sheraton Belgravia, I found myself surrounded by colleagues representing more than fifteen nationalities. Every shift became a lesson in cultural intelligence, collaboration and curiosity.

Beyond the hotel itself, Starwood's London portfolio created a unique learning environment through cross-training programs, leadership workshops and shared initiatives. I became Sheraton Belgravia's UNICEF Ambassador and embraced every opportunity to grow beyond my job description.

Then came the Global Financial Crisis.

Like many people in our industry, I had to rethink my future.

Instead of seeing uncertainty as a setback, I chose to see it as another adventure.

A few weeks later, I arrived in Abu Dhabi during Ramadan, ready to begin again.

That move would change not only my career but also my understanding of leadership across cultures.
